Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms explain billing, automatic renewal, cancellation, and refunds for paid Acrylic services. They supplement the Acrylic Terms of Service.

1. Merchant of Record

Lemon Squeezy acts as Merchant of Record for online Acrylic purchases. It handles checkout, payment authorization, sales tax, receipts, refunds, and payment disputes. Lemon Squeezy’s Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy apply at checkout.

Afterimage Inc. (Korean legal name: 주식회사 애프터이미지) provides the Acrylic service and enables features based on the subscription status received from Lemon Squeezy. We do not directly receive or store your complete card number or security code.

2. Plans and checkout terms

Acrylic may offer a free plan, individual subscriptions, seat-based team subscriptions, enterprise arrangements, and one-time usage-credit purchases. The checkout page controls the product, price, currency, tax, billing interval, quantity, included usage, and any promotional terms for your order.

A one-time credit purchase is not an automatically renewing subscription unless checkout clearly says otherwise.

3. Automatic renewal authorization

By purchasing a recurring plan, you authorize Lemon Squeezy to charge the payment method you provide for the price and applicable taxes shown at checkout:

• each month for a monthly plan;
• each year for an annual plan; or
• at another interval clearly displayed before you confirm the order.

Your subscription renews automatically until canceled. The renewal date is generally based on the original purchase date and may shift when a month lacks the same calendar date or as otherwise disclosed by the payment provider. You will receive an electronic confirmation or receipt after purchase and renewal.

4. Trials and promotions

A trial exists only when its length, conversion date, and post-trial price are shown before enrollment. Unless you cancel before the stated conversion time, the payment method will be charged when the trial ends. Promotional pricing lasts only for the period disclosed at checkout, after which the displayed standard renewal price applies.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel automatic renewal at any time through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal linked from Acrylic’s billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term, and paid access normally continues until then.

Deleting the app, signing out, or not using Acrylic does not cancel a subscription. Complete the cancellation in the customer portal and keep the confirmation. If you cannot access the portal, email j-choi@acrylichq.com for assistance. We will provide an online cancellation method that is at least as accessible as the method used to subscribe where required by law.

6. Refunds

Except where required by law, stated at checkout, or approved for a duplicate charge or material service failure, fees are nonrefundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for an unused portion of a billing period.

To request a refund, email j-choi@acrylichq.com with the purchase email, order number, and reason. Acrylic and Lemon Squeezy will evaluate the request under the terms shown at purchase, applicable law, and Lemon Squeezy’s payment procedures. Lemon Squeezy may also exercise refund authority as Merchant of Record.

7. Team seats and plan changes

Team plans may be billed by seat. Before a seat or plan change is confirmed, the interface will display whether it causes an immediate charge, prorated credit, or change at the next renewal. Reducing seats does not remove a member or their data unless the product explicitly says it will.

An upgrade may take effect immediately. A downgrade may take effect at the end of the term and can reduce features, limits, or available credits. Review and export needed data before the downgrade becomes effective.

8. Failed payments

If a payment fails, Lemon Squeezy may retry the charge and ask you to update the payment method. We may place the subscription in a grace, past-due, limited, or canceled state while payment remains unpaid. You are responsible for keeping billing details current.

Contact us and Lemon Squeezy promptly if you believe a charge is duplicated or unauthorized. Initiating a chargeback does not automatically resolve the underlying account or service dispute.

9. Taxes, currency, and exchange rates

Checkout will show the applicable currency and taxes collected by Lemon Squeezy. Your bank or payment provider may charge conversion, international, or other fees that are not controlled by Acrylic.

10. Price changes

We may change a recurring price for a future renewal. We will disclose the new price, effective renewal, and cancellation method before charging it, within the notice period required by law. Where Korean electronic commerce law applies, we will obtain your express consent no later than 30 days before increasing a recurring charge or converting a free service into a paid recurring plan. If you do not consent, we will not charge the increased or newly recurring price. We will not retroactively change a completed charge unless required by law or agreed with you.

11. One-time credits

One-time usage credits do not automatically renew. Checkout will state the amount, permitted use, expiration if any, and refund terms. Credits are not cash, a bank deposit, or stored value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash unless required by law or expressly stated.

12. Changes to these Subscription Terms

We may update these Subscription Terms when the law, payment provider, or product changes. We will provide advance notice before a material change affects an existing renewal and request renewed consent when required.
